For many of us, our annual holiday is a much-needed break from normal everyday life. It’s a chance to take a well-deserved mental break and pretend, for one or two weeks at least, to be worry free.
It may have involved months of saving and planning, giving care and attention to make sure the accommodation, transport and travel agenda is planned out, so you can enjoy every precious moment.
Part of this planning may have included how much money to take in local currency, and how much to load onto your travel card or leave in your account to spend as you need. But have you considered which payment methods you’ll use at different times throughout your holiday to help you get the most out of your spending money?
Wouldn’t it be great if you could spend less on things like exchange rates or fees, so you can spend more on things you enjoy and at the end of your holiday your bank account isn’t desperately seeking relief from the onslaught of foreign currency conversions?
