The App Store
Alternatively, you can also access Barclays Digital Wings on any device via a shortcut link directly to your device homepage, and to do this will depend on the type of device and browser you’re using, but here’s two examples:
First, in any browser, navigate and login to https://digital.wings.uk.barclays/
iPhone using Safari browser:
Click on the icon at the bottom of your browser window and then click the ‘Add to home screen’ icon.
Android phone using Google Chrome browser:
Click on the icon at the top of your browser window and then click the ‘Add to home screen’ icon.
Please follow the steps appropriate to the browser if using something different from those specified above.
Once you’ve accessed Barclays Digital Wings by one of the methods above, simply click on the ‘Sign Up’ button, enter the required information and create a new password.
Once you’re registered, when you want to start or continue your learning, simply log in using your email address and password.
If you can’t remember your password or are having problems logging on, please click on the ‘Forgotten password’ option and follow the instructions there.
You can start your learning with any module and complete them in any order you choose. To get started, decide on a module you like the look of, and click the module title.
You may have entered details about the type of tech you use, or tech that interests you. You’ll be shown recommended learning for your interests in the ‘Recommended for you’ ribbon.
Most modules have a test at the end to check your knowledge. You can skip straight to the test if you’d like to see if you know as much as you thought you did, or if you need to brush up on your knowledge. You can take the test as many times as you’d like.
If you don’t pass first time, don’t worry. You can re-take the test as many times as you’d like. When you pass the test, you gain points and a badge which you can see in your profile under ‘My badges’.
Take your time. There’s no time limit to completing the tests, so work your way through the content until you’re comfortable, and then re-take it.
Unfortunately, if you lose connection or exit the app during a knowledge check quiz your answers will not be saved as there isn’t a book marking facility. You’ll have to restart the quiz once you’ve re-established your connection.
Points are collected whenever you read a module, watch the videos, and complete the knowledge checks to earn your badges. The more points you earn, the higher you’ll climb the league table.
On registering for Barclays Digital Wings, you’ll automatically be placed on the ‘All users’ league table. Here you’ll be able to see the amount of points earned by the users ten places above and ten places beneath you in the table.
You can also create a league of your own to challenge friends, family or even co-workers.
To create a league simply click on ‘create a league’
Enter a league name – Please choose this carefully – please keep it clean. (we will delete any leagues which contain offensive or derogatory terms)
Then hit the create league button at the bottom. This will generate a league code. You’ll need to make a note of this to invite others to join your league. Don’t worry if you forget it though, please send us an email and we’ll send you a reminder: firstname.lastname@example.org
Once you’ve done this, you’ll need to refresh the page and ou’ll be able to see your brand new league on the home page when you log in. Once you have invited others to join your league you’ll see them appear on your league table.
All the leagues that you have joined will be listed when you select the down arrow next to all users. Select the league you want, to see how everyone is getting on, and who is your biggest competition.
If a friend, family member or colleague has sent you a code to join a league on Barclays Digital Wings, it’s really easy to join. Log in to Barclays Digital Wings as usual and on the home page at the top you’ll see the option to ‘Join another league’. Just type in the code and click JOIN. A pop up message will appear to confirm that you’re part of the league. You might need to refresh the screen to see who your competition is.
If you’ve created a league in error, want to leave a league, or just want to edit the details of a league you’ve created, please get in touch with us, and we can make the changes for you. Please don’t create a new one to replace it. Let us know the details for the changes including the league name at email@example.com
Barclays Digital Wings can be a helpful tool to many businesses, both large and small. If you are a business owner, you may wish to use Digital Wings as a learning and development tool for your employees. Inputting a company code can help us to provide your company with certain specific details regarding the users from your company.
Get in touch with us if you’d like to know more about using a company code for your business at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you’ve forgotten your password, please click on the ‘forgotten password’ link that is just under the log in section, and follow the steps. You will then be emailed a link to follow to reset your password. When choosing a password please follow the instructions given in the link.
If you no longer have access to the email address on your account, then this will need to be changed. Please contact us at email@example.com with the details of your new email address and we will make the necessary changes to the system. Your new email address can be any one of your choosing, whether home, work or personal.
This is most likely to happen if you have used the wrong email address when requesting a password reset. The email address you input must be the same email address you used when registering.
If you are using the correct email address, then please check the spelling and make sure you do not add any extra spaces to the end. We also suggest you check your ‘Junk’ mail folder and your email security settings, as password reset emails can be blocked by certain spam filters.
If you can’t remember what email address you used when registering, please contact us with your full name so we can confirm your account email. firstname.lastname@example.org
You might have also noticed that your points have been reset to zero. We’ve done this for everyone, and changed the way you can earn points. We’ve also introduced a new leader board with a brand new option to create a league table with people you know – there’s nothing like a little friendly competition to motivate learning.
As we work to improve the Barclays Digital Wings, we may occasionally need to make changes to the points scoring system. If this is the case, we’ll let you know well in advance so you are fully aware of the changes we’re making and why.
If for some reason the app does not seem to be working, please uninstall and then reinstall from the relevant App store. Don’t worry you won’t lose your points; you’ll simply need to log back in using your original email address and password once reinstalled.
All videos may require time to buffer before they can play so please check that you have a strong internet connection. They are also best viewed using Chrome.
