What are my rights?
When you pay for something, the law protects you
These rights are called ’statutory rights’ and they’re in place to make sure you get what you pay for. They apply to all goods and services you buy, whether in a shop, online or over the phone.

If things go wrong
If an item is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you can ask for a refund, repair or replacement. We will explain all of these terms in the next chapter, but the important thing to remember is, the quicker you act, the more options you have.
